“ So I had to make another trip and try lunch, and was not dissatisfied at all. Service was just as prompt, friendly and courteous as it was for dinner. Portions remained good size, meal was again served quickly and piping hot. The enchiladas we're as close to a Tex-Mex that I grew up eating and so I would definitely recommend sitting down and trying a meal. Staff is friendly, family owned and take great care in treating their patron's well. I've had both lunch and dinner and no matter which time they remain consistent with both quality and service. Had a nice dinner, went in about 5:30, and was able to get a table on this Saturday. Good service, good good, nice portions for the value. Served with chips and salsa, both regular and spicy. I had a combination plate, 2 items, with the enchilada (beef) which was delicious, and a chilli relleno which was good, served with rice and beans. Food was served extremely prompt and was served piping hot. My server was courteous, prompt and polite, and it was packed at the time I had dinner. If in the area it's a good place to dine. Restaurant was clean, and practice safe protocol, and staff all wore mask. ”

“ Murillo's on Merchant has a special place in my heart. As a young kid growing up in Fairfield we would often stop by Murillo's any chance we got. It has the BEST chips and salsa. Always fresh chips right out of the fryer and complimented with a warm mild salsa and a spicy chilled salsa. They have great combo meals that come with rice and beans and plenty of different menu items to satisfy your Mexican food cravings. Anytime I go back to Fairfield to visit my family, I always stop by Murillo's for a beer and some chips and salsa. The staff is fantastic and welcome you like you're family. Stacy, who would appear to be the manager, is always happy and welcoming to guests and her great attitude is reflected by her staff. I can't say enough good stuff about this place. ”
